This large Linocut print is based on a photograph of a Victorian Deep Sea Diver. The diver is seen holding a mobile phone to add humour to the print as well as playing on the idea we literally can’t be without our phones in this modern world, even in maybe the most inappropriate scenarios. This design has been hand illustrated and carved onto the block and then burnished by hand. It is printed using teal blue/green, oil based ink and silver acrylic paint onto 50% cotton rag, Fabriano printmaking paper. The paper measures 50 x 70 cm and is unframed. Limited edition of two.
